How do I introduce someone to karibu?
Simply share your referral link with someone you know who you think would enjoy the kind of travel karibu offers. They’ll subscribe to our newsletter and let us know who invited them.
Who can I introduce?
Anyone who isn’t already subscribed to the karibu adventures newsletter and who would enjoy active, meaningful travel.
How do I know the people I refer actually subscribe?
When your referee subscribes, we’ll ask who invited them to karibu adventures. As long as they include your name, we’ll credit the referral to you and keep track of your progress toward your next thank-you tier.
Do the people I refer have to book a trip?
No. You’ll receive credit as soon as they subscribe to our newsletter. Once you achieve one of our recognition tiers, you’ll receive a thank-you gift. Any bookings qualify you for our booking thank-you gifts.
Can I introduce more than one person?
Absolutely! There’s no limit to the number of people you can introduce to karibu adventures.
When will I receive my thank-you gift?
We’ll keep track of your referrals and contact you as soon as you reach one of our thank-you tiers. We’ll also let you know how to claim your gift.
Can I combine referrals to receive a gift?
Yes. Your referrals accumulate over time. When you reach 5 referrals who’ve subscribed, you’ll receive the Traveller thank-you gift. With another 5 referrals, you’ll reach 10 in total and receive the Explorer thank-you gift. Booking tiers work the same way. Once two of the people you’ve referred book a karibu adventure, you’ll receive the Adventurer thank-you gift. When two more people you’ve referred book (four total), you’ll receive the Trailblazer thank-you gift.
What if the person I refer forgets to include my name?
No problem. We will ask new subscribers to let us know who referred them. You can also alert us directly via email at info@karibuadventures.com.
